No.13 – Monument to a Teapot (mid-1990’s)

Anyone that knows me knows that tea is my favorite food group! I’m sure I drink way too much of that hot milky English-style beverage, winter, spring, summer and fall! I’ve made jars for tea in the past and turning the knob into a teapot seemed like a natural. I take great delight in making tiny pots…beads, books and even teapots. This is thrown with additions and little feet taken from my bonsai making days.

It has a yummy wood ash glaze which highlights all the edges.
