56. Amber Picher w/ Pellets

Some of my earliest influences as a potter came from medieval German and British pottery. I recently started to explore the more ornamental ideas from those days. Sprigging is a technique for decorating pottery with low relief shapes pressed in shallow molds. This jug is 7.5″ high and holds about 24 ounces.
